TASKI BY DIVERSEY JFIT PROMOTES SCRUBBER DRIER SUSTAINABILITY
Controls chemical usage for long term product, waste and cost savings
The new TASKI by Diversey JFit dilution control system can be installed on walk-behind and ride-on TASKI swingo scrubber driers to align chemical consumption with machine performance for optimum floor cleaning results with reduced waste, cost savings and other sustainability benefits. The system is available with a range of concentrated floor care products in the market-leading Jontec range.
The JFit dilution control unit is designed to insert product directly into the water line feeding the scrubber drier’s brush mechanism. It works in conjunction with the machine’s CSD system that controls the flow of water to the brushes depending on the working speed. Sensors detect changes in the flow rate and the equipment automatically adjusts the amount of product added. The same amount of cleaning solution is used on any given area of floor irrespective of machine speed. No puddles form when the machine slows or turns a corner. Waste is eliminated because chemical is only mixed with water when the machine is being used. The combination of JFit and CSD maintains a consistent and optimum dilution for the best possible cleaning results.
JFit promotes cleaning consistency and quality because the right product at the correct dilution is always used for each task and type of floor. This helps to avoid the risk of damage to floors caused by using the wrong product or incorrect dilutions. Costs are controlled because floor cleaning solution is always prepared with 100 per cent accuracy without any risk of overdosing. Chemical consumption and costs are always predictable.
Daily cleaning tasks are simplified because the scrubber drier’s tank need only be filled with clean water. No product is wasted when the machine is drained after use or during routine maintenance. Operators no longer have to prepare their own solutions before they start work which removes guesswork and inconsistency. This saves time before and after work that can be used for more productive tasks.
Settings can be fixed by a supervisor or maintenance technician to prevent cleaning staff from changing the dilution rates. This ensures that the machine will continue to operate in line with the application requirement at all times.
Cleaning product is contained in a 1.5 litre pouch that is inserted into the dilution control unit. Like all Diversey super concentrate platforms, JFit promotes sustainability. Depending on the size of machine and its water capacity one pouch can prepare the equivalent of up to 23 tanks of cleaning solution at 0.2 per cent dilution. This is the same amount of floor cleaning as three canisters of standard five litre product. The amount of packaging used is reduced by as much as 90 per cent over conventional products. Chemical miles are also reduced because proportionately more product litre-for-litre is transported through the supply chain. Careful pouch design helps ensure all of the contents are used rather than remaining in the container.
The system includes empty pouch detection and a warning signal so that operators know when they have to change the pouch. Product pouches are easy to remove and replace and, as with other Diversey concentrate platforms, the closed system design ensures there is little risk of operators coming into contact with neat product. All products in the range have non-corrosive formulations for even better safety in use. The small pouches also remove the need for cleaning staff to lift and tip heavy bulk containers when preparing their machines.
JFit is available on all models marked “JFit Ready” including the TASKI swingo 755 scrubber drier and all larger walk-behind and ride-on models in the range. Compatibility can be checked by Diversey service engineers using the serial number of the machine.
