New TASKI by Diversey machine for demanding customers
The new TASKI by Diversey 455 walk-behind battery and electric-powered scrubber driers from Sealed Air’s Diversey business offer operators market-leading performance to support the busiest and most intensive daily floor cleaning applications in building care, retail, education and healthcare. Each machine can clean up to 1290 square metres each hour while its increased tank capacity means it can work for longer, and clean more floor, between refills for improved productivity and reduced overall cost-in-use.
The scrubber drier is designed for improved performance and even greater versatility than previous models in the highly competitive building care market. Operators can choose between the 24/7 availability of a mains machine that is ideal for intensive daily cleaning applications and the complete autonomy of a battery model with identical design to support free-ranging and daytime cleaning applications when it is desirable to eliminate the use of a power cable.
The compact design and low profile of the machine combine with a working width of 43cm to ensure it can cover large floors quickly yet still operate in congested and confined areas. Its small, height-adjustable and ergonomic handle ensures comfort and allows the operator to control the machine precisely even when working beneath racks and tables. The squeegee width of 69cm and the arrangement of the scrubbing mechanism allow the machine to work up against walls.
Like all scrubber driers in the TASKI by Diversey range the machine removes dirt completely and leaves the floor totally dry and ready to be walked on immediately with reduced risk of the slip and trip accidents that are one of the biggest causes of injury in the workplace and public spaces. The scrubbing brush mechanism follows the floor’s profile at all times to achieve excellent cleaning and soil removal.
The three-wheel configuration and design of the pick up mechanism ensure that the innovative and patented v-shaped squeegee blade automatically follows the contours of the floor perfectly, with no need for adjustment, even when operating over rough or uneven surfaces to remove water, cleaning solution and small pieces of debris. Direct suction line eliminates the risk of clogging.
Ergonomic design promotes comfort and productivity. The machine’s intuitive controls ensure operators can be trained quickly and easily and are similar to those on other TASKI swingo scrubber driers which supports ease-of-use for anyone familiar with existing equipment. It is simple and safe to use and reduces training requirements to a minimum.
A wide range of tools and accessories is available to offer operators complete cleaning versatility. The battery model is available with a choice of power packs and can be supplied with the BMS Battery Management System which prolongs the period between charges and extends the overall life of the battery. It can also be supplied with the advanced XFC batteries that support faster and opportunity charging to enable higher availability during busy periods.
Robust construction and the use of long-life components ensure reliability and durability in the most demanding tasks. High-tech materials and long life components combine to enhance the machine’s uptime while reducing service and repair costs to a minimum. All service components are coloured yellow for easy identification during daily and routine checks and to simplify operator training. Each can be removed quickly and easily without any tools to minimise downtime. The recovery tank is also easy to remove which promotes proper use and helps to ensure the machine is simple to keep clean.
